The braces behind the wall panels at the deep end of the pool have a shelf to hold the automatic cover box.
Concrete footings are poured around the bottom of the wall panels.
Once the footings have been poured, a worker installs the box that will hold the automatic cover.
The concrete pad for the pool equipment has been poured and the plumbing lines are connected to the red piece for air testing.
The area behind the wall panels is back filled with dirt.
Now the electrical work begins. You can see the new pool heater, pump, and filter on the concrete pad by the workers.
The swimming pool drains have been set in place and leveled.
After air testing, all of the plumbing lines are connected to the pool equipment. A shut off valve is installed on each line.
A protective wall pad is attached to the inner wall panels with spray adhesive. A broom is used to smooth the pad.
Once the protective pad is in place, workers must cut around and tape all the openings in the wall.
A worker spreads recycled base on the floor of the pool.
Next, a vermiculite base is applied to all parts of the pool surface below the wall panels. Here, a worker smooths the vermiculite base with a trowel.
